The neighborhood is served by buses, city trams and connected to the subway system through the Piazza Municipio stop on lines 1 and 6 and the Chiaia - Monte di Dio stop on line 6. The Central funicular already guarantees connections with Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Vomero. Furthermore, the Santa Lucia Elevator is about to open, which will connect the Monte Echia viewpoint with Borgo di Santa Lucia, while the Chiaia elevator has been in operation since the mid-1950s, which takes you from Via Chiaia to Piazza Santa Maria degli Angeli. In addition, the Acton elevator connects Piazza Plebiscito with Via Acton.

San Ferdinando is a neighborhood in the center of Naples.
